U.S. Model 1816 Flintlock Musket, by M.T. Wickham, .69 cal., 42'' barrel, finished bright, full-length walnut stock, marked ''U.S. / M.T. Wickham, Phila / 1834''. Upper tang is also dated 1834, with breech area marked ''U.S. / J.M. / P''. Original button-tipped ramrod is in place. Condition is fine. Barrel with some general overall carbon spotting. Lockplate has toned gray with clear markings. Stock with mostly clear cartouche, light scuffs and general scratches overall. Good functioning action, bore is mostly bright. Est.: $1,800-$2,400.
